End of the 2nd; 5-1 NU

What a period for the Huskies....and what a deflating one for BC.

The end of the period featured a bit of drama, as BC's Ben Smith flew down the ice and deked several NU defenders. Smith' s shot was stopped by Thiessen, who made another nice save. However, scuffle ensued with the Thiessen being piled on and the net coming loose. During the ruckus, NU'S Dennis Chisolm started wailing on a BC player. There is a stoppage while the refs figure out the penalities. Chisolm was given a 5 minute major for punching and a game disqualification.

Joe Vitale- 2 minutes hitting after the whistle.

BC
Brock Bradford: 5 minute major for charging.
Cam Atkinson: 2 minutes for hitting after the whistle.
