Just got back from the Beanpot Media Day at the Garden. Very nice lunch. I had a chance to speak with BC coach Jerry York, Harvard coach Ted Donato, and very briefly with BU's Jack Parker. Notable media members in attendance included Dan Shaughnessy, Kathryn Tappen, Tom Caron, Nancy Marrapese-Burrell, and John Connolly. TC ended the ceremony with a brief speech to kick off the Beanpot season. I'll be sure to post some quotes later.
But on to basketball. Huge game tonight for the Huskies, when they take on VCU at 9 p.m. The Rams held off a late George Mason charge to emerge victorious Saturday in what was actually a pretty entertaining game. If you go to VCU's website, they have a large banner promoting the game before the main page.
